Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and visionary Showroom Manager & Design Team Lead to elevate our interior design and lighting showroom experience. Duties Lead the showroom team by providing mentorship, training, and motivation to ensure outstanding customer service and project delivery Manage daily showroom operations, including client consultations, product displays, and inventory oversight Oversee the planning and execution of residential interior design projects, ensuring alignment with client needs and budget parameters Develop detailed construction documentation, including drafting plans, elevations, sections, and construction details using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D, and other CAD/BIM tools Create compelling presentations with CAD software and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate design concepts effectively to clients Conduct building code analysis and ensure all designs meet local building regulations and safety standards Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and clients throughout renovation or remodeling projects to ensure seamless execution Produce high-quality renderings and 3D models for visualizing architectural designs and lighting concepts using 3ds Max or similar software Manage project timelines, budgets, contracts, and documentation while maintaining clear communication with clients at every stage Drive sales of lighting products by providing expert advice on lighting design solutions tailored to residential spaces Requirements Proven experience managing a showroom or retail environment within the interior design or lighting industry Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a creative team of designers and draftsmen Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D; experience with Bluebeam for document management is a plus Expertise in 3D modeling for architectural design and rendering using 3ds Max or similar tools Solid understanding of building code compliance, construction detail documentation, and BIM (Building Information Modeling) tools Knowledge of residential interior design projects from concept through execution including remodeling and renovation processes Excellent client communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally using graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite Strong project management capabilities with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously within budget constraints Background in construction or remodeling with an understanding of lighting sales, lighting design principles, and construction experience is highly desirable Ability to interpret building plans accurately while maintaining attention to detail in drafting and documentation processes Join us as a Showroom Manager & Design Team Lead if you're passionate about transforming spaces through innovative design solutions!
