Job Description
Job Title:
Project Architect Essential Skills Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited university. Minimum of 5 years of working experience in architectural design. Strong knowledge of building systems, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems. Proficiency in Revit for design and documentation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation for production and coordination. Experience developing building designs, obtaining site plan approvals, and producing fully integrated construction documents. Experience in construction documentation, bidding assistance, and construction administration. Demonstrated skills in architectural design and project management. Job Description The Project Architect leads the design and delivery of complex architectural projects from concept through construction. This role requires strong knowledge of building systems, including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, as well as proven experience in developing building designs, obtaining site plan approvals, and producing fully integrated construction documents. The Project Architect collaborates closely with clients, guides project teams, and ensures high-quality, well-coordinated outcomes with a strong focus on detail, communication, and leadership. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $55.29/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
