3D Modeling & Visualization Assistant - CAD/Design Support (Freelance)

Vermosa, a landscape architecture firm in El Paso, TX, is seeking candidates for a freelance, contract-based remote role as we are expanding our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience working alongside our design team on active projects. The role will primarily focus on 3D modeling, visualization and rendering of landscape architectural projects, plus opportunities for drafting, design and fieldwork support as needed. The position is project-based with flexible scheduling that works well alongside academic and professional commitments, provided project deadlines are met. The starting compensation range per project is $15 - $18 per hour, commensurate with experience and demonstrated portfolio quality. Qualified candidates should have an interest in landscape architecture, a love for nature, working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop, and modeling/visualization software such as SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, Rhino, Vectorworks, V-Ray, Twinmotion. Duties Develop detailed 3D models, visualizations and renderings that effectively communicate design intent for landscape architectural projects Assist as needed with drafting technical schematics and field work. Collaborate with project team to refine models, visualizations and renderings, incorporating feedback to meet project goals Qualifications 6 months - 1 year professional experience in an architectural or design environment. Combinaton of academic/professional experience will be considered. Proven experience with 3D modeling and rendering Drafting schematics and technical documentation within a CAD environment Familiarity with system design principles Ability to produce high-quality visualizations with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with Landscape Architect Ability to manage multiple projects independently within set deadlines

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour
