Civil Design Engineer

Civil Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking candidates with 3 to 5 years of design experience, preferably in site development, to join our growing team. You'll have the opportunity to use your experience to play a lead role in civil engineering design, guided by a Project Manager and supported by other team members. Our commitment to training and development will allow you to grow in your career and take on new responsibilities. Responsibilities Create civil engineering plans and technical specifications. Develop engineering calculations for stormwater, utilities, and earthwork. Work with the Project Manager to execute the design, create work plans, and track tasks and deliverables. Essential Skills 3-5 years of relevant design experience, preferably in site development. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to function effectively in a team environment and focus on client satisfaction. Effective time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. E.I.T. certification. Working knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to site development projects in California. Proficiency in typical civil engineering design software (AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Hydrology and Hydraulic, WaterCAD, etc.). Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with land development, stormwater management, grading, drainage, and civil design Site design expertise Work Environment This role offers flexible work hours with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after 90 days. The new office is in a great location with open windows and a spectacular view. The workspace is open, with multiple conference rooms, a designated area for children during odd working hours, a wellness room for relaxation, and a spacious kitchen with a home-like cooking area. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Roseville, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $57.00/hr.
