The Role We are looking for a Structural Drafter to join our team. Candidates within driving distance of our Lyndhurst, New Jersey office will work on a hybrid-eligible basis, while candidates located outside driving distance of a Tamarack Grove Engineering office may be considered for a fully remote arrangement. This is a production-focused role where you will work directly alongside our structural engineers to develop and deliver high-quality construction document sets in Revit. You will take real ownership of your work, grow your skills in a collaborative environment, and be supported by a team that invests in its people. What You Will Do Produce and review structural plans, details, elevations, and schedules in Revit Implement redlines and markups from engineers and team leaders to modify and produce accurate construction documents Gather information through project kickoff meetings and engineer input to support early-phase document sets Coordinate with engineers and team leaders to ensure drawings meet design requirements and project objectives Recognize and flag structural or constructability issues within construction documents for engineer review Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation Participate in project meetings and contribute from a drafting perspective Represent TGE professionally, exemplifying our core values in daily work What We Are Looking For 2+ years of professional experience in structural drafting and construction document production Advanced Revit proficiency required, including the ability to model complex structural elements and create and edit Revit families Experience in a structural engineering office or closely related AEC environment strongly preferred Associate's degree or certificate in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field preferred Solid understanding of structural systems, construction types, materials, and fasteners Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects AutoCAD familiarity preferred; Bluebeam Revu familiarity a plus A Significant Plus Experience with walk-in cooler or cold storage structural projects is a strong differentiator for this role.
