Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect with a minimum of 8 years of experience in residential architecture to support the design and execution of complex architectural elements across projects. In this role, you will work collaboratively with project managers, designers, and consultants to develop technically rigorous, design-forward solutions for specialty components. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, detail-oriented, and fluent in translating ambitious design ideas into precise, buildable outcomes. This role plays a key part in ensuring that signature architectural features are successfully integrated into larger project teams and executed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with project teams, including architects, interior designers, and project managers, to develop and integrate complex architectural elements into larger project scopes. Support the design and development of specialty architectural components, including stairs, roofs, façades, and custom installations. Translate conceptual design intent into coordinated, technically sound BIM models for construction documentation. Produce highly detailed Revit models and drawings that support fabrication, coordination, and construction. Act as a technical resource to project teams, contributing to problem-solving and detailing strategies across all phases. Participate in internal reviews and cross-team coordination to maintain design quality, consistency, and adherence to office standards. Work with consultants, fabricators, and contractors to ensure constructability, coordination, and alignment with design intent.
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of work experience in the Architecture/Interior Design industry, particularly in high-end residential or hospitality design. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and architectural detailing. Experience with additional modeling tools such as Rhino, 3ds Max, and SketchUp. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, design-focused open environment. Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to technical excellence.
Technical / Software skills:
Advanced proficiency in
Revit Adobe Suite Microsoft Office Required Qualifications:
Architectural Licensure preferred. Minimum 5 years of applicable design experience in residential architecture. Able to self-motivate and work well under deadlines. Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and strong ability to manage client relationships. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Demonstrate strong commitment to quality. Able to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Technical / Software skills:
Strong Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel required. Candidates must be experienced in wood frame construction documentation Flexible work from home options available.
