Posted 06/2026 Job Description Job Summary Support the design, development, integration, and certification of aircraft interior payload systems throughout the product lifecycle. Assist with system requirements development, design validation, manufacturing support, supplier coordination, and production implementation for commercial aircraft interior components. - 1st Shift (approximately 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
- Must be a U.S. Citizen Education & Job Requirements
- Bachelor's of Science degree from an accredited course of study in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 2+ years of work-related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Demonstrate 2+ years of experience with 3-D modeling tools such as Autodesk Inventor, CATIA, SOLIDWORKS, SketchUp, Pro-E, 3DX, or equivalent design software
- Collaborate effectively within cross-functional engineering and production teams
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, or maintenance manuals
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Preferred Skills
- Possess 2+ years of experience in aerospace engineering, design, and engineering release processes
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Apply working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications
- Meet assigned plan delivery deadlines
- Understand FAA Title 14 Part 25 and/or EASA equivalent requirements Job Duties & Functions
- Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish system designs
- Perform validation and verification testing of systems and components to ensure compliance with requirements and specifications
- Coordinate supplier performance, testing, and production activities to optimize designs and achieve program objectives
- Support production floor activities during first-of and complex builds
- Assist in the development of new design and analysis processes to improve quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
- Investigate emerging technologies to support future product development initiatives
- Create, maintain, and modify payload system and component designs using 3-D Computer Aided Design tools and other design methods
- Manage interior aircraft systems including light limiting headers, closets, partitions, stow bins, and wiring
- Support customer configuration development, fabrication, manufacturing, certification, and production activities throughout the product lifecycle Physical Requirements & Environment
