We manage all aspects of the process; providing real estate investment, finance, design, estimating, construction and property management services for both residential and commercial projects across the Siouxland area. Connelly Development is recognized for its approachability, integrity, creativity and quality. As an architectural designer with Connelly Development, you will work in collaboration with our team to lead clients through our design process, ensuring the creation of exceptional final products. You will utilize both physical and digital drafting tools to conceptualize and develop projects from initial schematic designs to permit ready construction documents. Skills, Knowledge & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Design or related field from an accredited program preferred. Minimum Associate's degree in architectural drafting or related field.
  • 3+ Years of experience with AutoDesk Revit in a professional setting preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, writing and graphic communication skills.
  • Knowledge of building codes.
  • Working knowledge of rendering software such as Enscape a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Design Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Business Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to maintain a strategic and positive outlook; be creative and open to learning.
  • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment and respond to design needs from project leads.
  • Ability to change directions quickly and navigate obstacles to complete tasks on schedule and within budgeted hours. Responsibilities
  • Assist with client interactions to establish design project goals and requirements.
  • Bring innovative, thoughtful design ideas to the team that are project appropriate.
  • Generate and develop concepts that meet intended design goals and budget.
  • Communicate design ideas through hand sketching, digital floor plans, 3D renderings and verbal presentation.
  • Create preliminary design layouts and develop plans to permit ready construction documents.
  • Assist with interior design tasks and finish selections.
  • Coordinate with project managers, estimators, consultants, contractors and fabricators to complete and modify construction documents as needed.
  • Actively work on high-level tasks and deliverables for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Assist with site visits and site documentation.
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
