Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our dynamic design team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and detailed schematics that support architectural, engineering, and construction projects. Your expertise in CAD software and building information modeling (BIM) tools will be essential in translating concepts into clear, accurate plans that meet building code compliance and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative design solutions while honing your drafting skills in a collaborative environment. Duties Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and other CAD software to support project requirements. Create construction detail documentation that adheres to industry standards and building codes. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to produce accurate schematics and system designs. Utilize 3D modeling software such as 3ds Max, Rhino 3D, Grasshopper 3D, and SketchUp for complex visualizations and conceptual designs. Assist in building information modeling (BIM) processes to facilitate efficient project workflows and data management. Review design drafts for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with building regulations; make revisions as needed. Support system design projects including mechanical design, interior design, graphic design, and construction details. Requirements Proven experience with CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, or SolidWorks; familiarity with 3D CAD modeling is essential. Strong knowledge of construction detail documentation and building code analysis. Proficiency in BIM tools like Revit or ArchiCAD for integrated project delivery. Experience with 3D modeling software including 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, or SketchUp is highly desirable. Ability to interpret architectural drawings, schematics, and engineering plans accurately. Knowledge of building code compliance standards across various jurisdictions. Excellent drafting skills combined with a keen eye for detail and precision. Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams. Pay:
$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
