full-time Manuel Zeitlin Architects (MZA), an established, award-winning Nashville architecture and interior design firm with experience in a broad range of project typologies, is seeking to fill a drawing/production support position. The new employee will provide modeling/drafting/production support while working and growing professionally under the supervision of MZA's architects, designers, and other staff members. Position MZA?is seeking a skilled and disciplined individual who can provide strong production support with nominal direction. This individual should be capable of completing assorted drawing production tasks on multiple, varied projects in different phases of design.? Ideally, this individual has experience in creating and developing architectural drawings from schematic design through completion of construction documents. This person should have a solid design background and be confident in making recommendations as they relate to overall project design concepts, drawing production, and detailing. This person should be able to assess his or her own capacity and provide feedback as it relates to scheduling them as a resource in the office. ? Duties Accurately survey and document existing building conditions Correspond, collaborate, and support the design team and project managers Assist with preparation of architectural drawings during all phases of projects Assist with renderings of current and upcoming projects Attend project meetings with design consultants, government officials, and clients Perform other related duties as required and assigned Education and Background Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture 3-5 years of professional Revit modeling and drawing experience in an architectural office Valid driver's license US Citizen or Employment Visa Excellent written and oral communication skills Personal Characteristics Team player with the self-confidence to take on solo tasks Demonstrates strong initiative and is a proactive problem solver Able to take direction and input from coworkers Effective communicator Eager to expand knowledge of design and construction Able to work in the office 5 days per week Well organized Dependable
