We specialize in custom homes, large-scale renovations, additions, and select light commercial projects. Our approach is built on a simple idea: great design should also be buildable. The Role We're looking for a licensed Architect to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to see their designs come to life and enjoys collaborating closely with both clients and builders. You'll lead architectural work for custom residential and select light commercial projects throughout the Nashville area, guiding projects from early concepts and permitting through construction documents and on-site support. What You'll Do Lead architectural design for custom residential projects—including new construction, renovations, and additions—from schematic design through construction documents Prepare, sign, and seal permit-ready drawing sets Collaborate closely with our design and construction teams to ensure projects are buildable, aligned with budget, and true to the client's vision Meet directly with clients to understand their goals and translate them into functional, beautiful spaces Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and municipal permitting departments Provide construction administration support, including site visits and RFI and submittal review Help shape the systems, standards, and culture of a growing design-build firm What We're Looking For Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture Active Tennessee architect license with the ability to sign and seal architectural drawings At least 5 years of professional experience in residential architecture or construction Strong working knowledge of residential building codes, permitting requirements, and construction methods Proficiency with architectural design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or comparable programs Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with clients A collaborative mindset and a desire to work closely with builders throughout the entire project Based in the Nashville area Why Join Syndicate Boutique firm environment with direct access to leadership and meaningful ownership over projects Close integration between architecture, design, and construction Opportunities to work on high-end custom homes and select light commercial projects throughout Middle Tennessee The ability to remain involved from initial concept through construction Room to grow alongside a firm that is actively expanding Competitive compensation of $80,000-$120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications How to Apply Please submit your resume and architectural portfolio through Indeed.
