Job Description:

Red Elephant is seeking an experienced Technical Designer to join our dynamic team in the architectural signage industry. This role requires excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills with strong conceptual thinking, visual communication skills, and a keen eye for problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating detailed technical drawings and plans. An interest in architecture, manufacturing and materials is a plus.

Role Overview:

In this role, an understanding of architectural drawing scales and the ability to read and interpret architectural drawings are essential. A passion for manufacturing, fabrication methods, and materials is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop detailed technical/shop drawings and plans based on provided designs. Research and select appropriate materials and methods to meet project requirements and specifications. Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations. Preparation project documentation utilizing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, and Sign Agent Provide technical support and guidance to the project team.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Design, Construction Management, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in drafting or detailing. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign) and AutoCAD Strong understanding of architectural and construction principles. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Experience with architectural signage and architectural graphics is a significant plus. Experience with 3D software is a plus.
