Bob Mills Furniture is seeking a talented and creative Interior Decorator / Designer to bring our showroom to life. In this role, you'll design beautiful, functional merchandise displays that create an enjoyable shopping experience and reflect our brand's style and quality. RESPONSIBILITIES
Create engaging and timely merchandise displays throughout the store and other designated areas. Design visual presentations that enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Collaborate with store leadership on floor planning and visual strategies. Lead and direct Floor Technicians during furniture moves and showroom resets. Support setup and visual preparation for in-store events and promotions. Use your design expertise, good judgment, and creativity to bring displays to life and accomplish department goals.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree in design, art, architecture, or a related field is preferred. Visual merchandising or design certifications are a plus. 2-5 years of experience in interior decorating, visual merchandising, or related field required. A portfolio showcasing your work is highly encouraged. Strong understanding of visual display principles, retail trends, and customer behavior is essential. Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and initiative. Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
