Description Job Summary The Designer III - Engineering role is responsible for independently performing the design throughout all phases of multiple simultaneous projects. Develops technical aspects throughout all phases of a project. Job Responsibilities Provide technical expertise to project teams regarding detailing, code analysis, project documentation, construction administration, and other project-centric processes. Provide technical detailing with a variety of construction materials and systems. Collaborate with designers and teams to translate design concepts into sound technical solutions. May mentor and begin to supervise others Requirements Required Education & Experience Associates degree required. 5-10 years of experience Preferred Education & Experience Bachelor's degree preferred. Proficiency in computer software such as AutoCAD and Civil3D. Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills. Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multi-design discipline team. Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc.
