This role works closely with our Sales Consultants to transform customer concepts into detailed construction-ready designs while ensuring quality, creativity, and efficiency throughout the design process. The ideal candidate has a strong background in drafting and design, required experience with AutoCAD , and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Design Development Create custom swimming pool and outdoor living designs based on project information provided by the Sales team. Develop detailed construction drawings, site layouts, and design concepts using AutoCAD. Produce accurate and buildable plans that meet company standards, customer expectations, and applicable codes. Review and revise designs based on feedback from the Sales team and management. Maintain consistency in design quality, accuracy, and presentation. Sales Team Support Collaborate with Sales Consultants to understand project scope, customer preferences, and design objectives. Provide technical design recommendations to enhance project functionality and aesthetics. Prepare drawings and supporting documentation for project proposals and construction. Project Coordination Coordinate site measurements and collect project information necessary for accurate designs. Maintain organized project files, drawings, and revision histories. Work closely with Construction and Operations to ensure designs are feasible and ready for execution. Meet project deadlines while managing multiple design projects simultaneously. Continuous Improvement Stay current on industry trends, building standards, and design best practices. Recommend process improvements that increase design efficiency and accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum one year of professional AutoCAD experience creating construction or architectural drawings required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Drafting, Architecture, Engineering Technology, Interior Design, Landscape Design, or a related field preferred. Experience designing swimming pools, residential construction, landscape architecture, or outdoor living spaces is preferred. Strong understanding of construction drawings, drafting standards, and spatial design. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Sales, Construction, and Operations teams.
