C&I Engineering is looking for a talented and driven individual to join our team!
About the opportunity:
Civil Structural Designer We are currently seeking a full-time Civil Structural Designer to help us achieve our company mission. This person will be part of the Civil/Structural team, which is responsible for developing designs for structural layouts in facilities such as refineries, distilleries, and consumer packaging facilities. C&I is an employee-owned, full-service engineering design firm providing engineering/design/project management and procurement services to various clients in oil & gas, food & beverage, and distilled spirits.
Responsibilities include:
Prepares design packages, including construction scope of work, for complex projects that meet design intents and customer expectations. Identifies and obtains information needed from and by other departments for coordination purposes. Uses software to develop 3D models of structures used in industrial facilities. The Civil Structural Designer prepares structural steel and reinforced concrete design drawings. Works with other departments to ensure project is completed. Communicates with the engineers to coordinate plans. Reads documents, specifications, reports, and other materials to ensure work is accurate.
Minimum requirements:
2-year technical degree with a specialization in computer-aided drafting and design, along with a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
