Job Description

As our Civil Engineer Designer supporting our Tucson AZ Engineering team , you will work remotely from the Salt Lake City, UT office while contributing to the planning, analysis, and design of stormwater, flood control, and water/wastewater systems while growing your technical skills alongside experienced mentors. Your work will directly support projects that strengthen and sustain local communities.

What You'll Do You'll work on water resources & flood control related projects and provide related support to multidisciplinary engineering projects through design, analysis, and technical documentation, working closely with project managers and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling :
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and related calculations
Technical Reporting & Documentation :
Support technical reports, memorandums, and project documentation
Infrastructure Planning & Design Support :
Assist with planning, analysis, and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
Fieldwork & Project Coordination :
Participate in field visits, data collection, and coordination with project teams Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university 0-4 years of civil engineering design experience Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification or can be obtained within 1 year of hire Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PC-Hydro Flo-2D) Experience using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, GIS software Active in or desire to participate in industry related organizations Compensation & Benefits Employee Stock Ownership Program 401(k) with match
