Duties Lead the analysis of building codes and regulations to ensure all project designs comply with local, state, and federal standards. Oversee the development of detailed 3D CAD models using advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to visualize and refine project designs. Conduct comprehensive building code analysis to identify potential issues early in the design process, ensuring seamless integration with construction regulations. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to develop innovative design engineering solutions that balance functionality, safety, and sustainability. Review technical specifications and construction documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to building code compliance. Guide junior engineers through complex technical challenges, providing mentorship to foster professional growth. Ensure all project deliverables meet rigorous quality standards while adhering to project timelines and budgets. Experience Proven experience in building code analysis, 3D CAD modeling, and utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools in a construction or engineering environment. Strong knowledge of construction regulations and building code compliance across various jurisdictions. Demonstrated expertise in design engineering principles with a focus on sustainable and innovative building solutions. Technical proficiency in analyzing complex structural systems and integrating them into comprehensive project designs. Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies. Prior leadership experience managing engineering projects or teams is highly desirable. A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; professional licensure (e.g., PE license) is preferred.
