Description:
Join a nationally recognized consulting engineering firm solving complex structural and building enclosure challenges across the United States. If you're a licensed Engineer or Architect looking to expand your leadership skills while working on historic preservation, forensic investigations, restoration, and new construction projects, we'd like to hear from you. This position offers significant opportunities for technical specialization, project management, leadership development, and career advancement within a growing national consulting engineering firm. Ideal candidates have experience with one or more of the following: Evaluating structural or architectural failures Assessing deterioration, code deficiencies, and safety concerns Designing structural and building enclosure repairs Preparing construction documents for restoration and renovation projects You'll work on projects involving: Structural failure investigations Building enclosure evaluations Historic preservation Facade and roofing rehabilitation Restoration and renovation design Forensic engineering Why Join WDP? Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architecture (advanced degrees are valued but not required) Registered Architect or Licensed Engineer 3+ years of related experience The desire to engage in hands-on field investigations Willingness to perform field investigations and travel as project needs require Valid driver's license, driving history, and background verifications Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship
