Greenway Engineering, Inc. is currently seeking a motivated Project Engineer, EIT (Engineer in Training) with Land Development Experience to join our Winchester, VA office.

Applicants must possess:

EIT (or PE) license Land Development Experience (minimum 2-5+ years) Ability to assist Project Managers and Senior Engineers in the planning and design of hydraulic and storm water collection systems Working knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Word and MS Excel Strong oral and written communication skills Proficiency in design and development of land development projects Flexibility in managing job tasks as deadlines and priorities change Desire to work in a team environment Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, clients, and public agencies Under the guidance of a licensed engineer (P.E.), this position will work with a project team to design a variety of projects, including industrial, commercial, and residential sites throughout Northern VA and Eastern, WV. Responsibilities would include but are not limited to: Design and develop civil engineering projects using AutoCAD and Carlson and Civil 3D software. Prepare and review project schematics, ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Conduct project scheduling and manage timelines effectively. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success. Utilize GIS and construction estimating tools for accurate project planning. Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing updates and addressing concerns. Assist in technical writing and documentation for project proposals and reports. Job Shift Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM with occasional overtime Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate(s) will be subject to a background screening. Pay:

$60,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
