Job Description

We are looking for a grounded and confident Structural Design Technician in our Northwest geography. Our team has a strong backlog of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and on river facilities projects that will be supported by our multi discipline design team in the local office. It's one thing to dream up new solutions. At Jacobs, we also deliver them.
  • Associate's degree (AA) Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design or similar technical degree.
  • Trained in Revit or Bentley Microstation software.
  • 5+ years of CAD drafting/design experience
  • Attention to detail and willing to learn other disciplines if needed.
  • Experience doing Structural design in 3D modeling software such as Autodesk Revit or Bentley OpenBuilding/iModel. Ideally, here's what you'll also have:
  • Advance Autodesk Revit or Bentley OpenBuilding/iModel experience for Content creation (families/blocks/dynamic)
  • Structural design/detailing experience
  • Experience in water/wastewater/infrastructure structural design projects
  • Bentley MicroStation Experience
