Job Description

Design Technician - H Design H Design is looking for a Design Technician to join our fast-paced team. We are seeking someone who is detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and update architectural drawings and construction documents Create floor plans, site plans, elevations, and other design drawings Revise plans based on client feedback and permit review comments Assist with existing-condition/as-built drawings Work efficiently on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Coordinate project information with the H Design team Maintain accurate and organized project files Assist with projects throughout the design and permitting process
Qualifications:
Experience with architectural drafting or design preferred Understanding of residential construction and architectural plans Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with Chief Architect software is a plus Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar design software is beneficial We're looking for a motivated individual who can keep up with a fast-paced workload, learn quickly, and work well as part of a team.
