About the
Role:
The 2027 Summer Internship in Architecture offers an immersive opportunity for aspiring architects to gain hands-on experience within a dynamic and innovative architectural firm. Interns will contribute to real-world projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to develop design concepts, prepare detailed drawings, and assist in project documentation. This role is designed to bridge academic knowledge with practical application, enhancing technical skills and understanding of architectural processes. Ultimately, this internship aims to cultivate a strong foundation in architectural design, project management, and professional communication, preparing candidates for successful careers in architecture.Minimum Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited architecture degree program (Bachelor's or Master's level). Basic proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD or Revit. Strong foundational knowledge of architectural principles and design processes. Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Legal authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous internship or project experience in an architectural or design firm. Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and design thinking. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.Responsibilities:
Assist in creating architectural drawings, models, and presentations using industry-standard software and tools. Collaborate with architects and design teams to develop and refine design concepts based on project requirements and client feedback. Support the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and other project-related materials. Participate in potential site visits or meetings to observe project progress and understand practical implementation challenges.
