Job Description

Davy Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer to work on a variety of civil engineering projects in
WI, MN & IA.
Key Responsibilities:
The Civil Engineer develops work plans, organizes and works within teams to meet project timelines and budgets, coordinates with regulatory and permit agencies, and performs technical designs for projects such sanitary sewer, water distribution, storm water conveyance systems, pump stations, residential street improvements, pedestrian pathways, public recreation sites, stream bank stabilization, drainage studies, hydraulic & hydrologic analyses, large land development projects, site grading plans, etc., ensuring the engineering designs and quality controls are carried out in accordance with company standards and project guidelines. A successful candidate for this position should meet the following requirements. BS in Civil Engineering. Ability to be a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin within 2-4 years. Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications. Experience with wastewater, water, and/or streets & utilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Capable of working efficiently and collaboratively with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and Davy staff.
Additional skills a plus:
Previous experience working on multiple city infrastructure projects. Previous experience with Civil/Municipal projects. Experience in preparing project plans, specifications, and bidding documents. Previous experience in project proposal preparation and client service management. Our specialties are wastewater and water supply treatment, but we do a large amount of general sanitary sewer, storm sewer, watermain and local street work. Our projects are located in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa within 200 miles of La Crosse. We have approximately 45 staff members with about 1/2 working on engineering and 1/2 on water and wastewater analysis through our division, Davy Laboratories.
