Job Title:
Revit Drafter Job Description The Technician collaborates with senior design members, Project Managers, and jobsite Foremen to develop both 2D and 3D drawings for construction layout, create documents that enhance productivity on the jobsite, and assist the team in visualizing construction documents for better understanding and cost estimating. Responsibilities Develop Revit model families for general and project-specific needs. Produce shop drawings, submittal drawings, as-built drawings, and other necessary documents. Attend coordination meetings internally and externally to identify and eliminate potential issues early. Represent the company professionally at BIM coordination and clash detection meetings. Work with the project team to coordinate work, clear clashes, and meet customers' BIM requirements. Assist with the coordination and management of electronic project files. Use software such as Revit, MEP, Navisworks, MS Office, Bluebeam, and Robotic Total Station Software to model electrical systems components. Create installation drawings for jobsite personnel. Coordinate installation with other trades. Provide information for sub-assembly and prefabrication. Complete specific project requirements for healthcare, renewables, schools, clinics, data centers, and battery storage projects. Essential Skills 1+ years of Revit experience. Experience with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) rather than just architectural or engineering backgrounds. Understanding of building layouts and ability to read blueprints. Proficiency with Revit and Navisworks software. Knowledge of basic wiring diagrams, NEC codes, electrical layouts, and panel schedules. Ability to draw conduit and circuit elements in Revit. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $56.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
