3D Structural Designer (Industrial)
Job Description
Raw Resources Group, a premier EPC Turnkey company based in Princeton, WV, is looking for an experienced 3D Designer to join its team. This position is based in Princeton, WV. In general, the position will be responsible for the conceptualization, layout, and detailing of structural steel, foundations, platework and/or piping for industrial and material handling facilities. Engineering phases and duties would include proposal/scope development engineering through operational phase support. The successful candidate must be able to design structures, structural elements, belt conveyors, transfer towers, buildings, foundations, piping, etc.
Duties:
Position requires thorough knowledge and proficiency of drafting and design using Revit, AutoCAD, Advance Steel, Plant 3D, and Navisworks software. Candidate must be able to perform all levels of drafting in conjunction with their assignments including experience with: Manage project work flow to ensure project completion and adherence to project schedules; Layout and details of construction drawings, shop drawings, and field inspections; Read, interpret, and apply standards, customer specifications, and standard drawing formats; Deliver a quality design product in the allotted time to support customer project needs; Adopt and adhere to Company and/or customer CAD standards while providing support to others in adhering to applicable standards; Access and efficiently interpret and utilize information contained in technical manuals, vendor and customer drawings, and previous designs; Responsible for performing activities both a member of a design team and as an individual contributor; Responsible for checking and reviewing own work as well as the work of others; Perform the necessary field work to obtain accurate information for the design;Qualifications:
High school diploma required; associate's degree or Tech Certification in Computer Aided Drafting and Design preferred Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Advance Steel, and Navisworks software Industrial experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills All qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
