Job Description

MGA Research Corporation is a world-renowned testing services and equipment provider with nine test facility locations across North America. We are seeking Test Technicians for our automotive test lab in Lincoln, Alabama. This position is responsible for the setup and execution of a variety of automotive tests.
Testing ranges from:
Full vehicle crash Dynamic sled Airbag deployment and analysis Static strength Life cycle durability, environmental exposure, vibration, and more Multiple positions are available. The role offers the right candidate a large amount of professional responsibility. Successful applicants will be self-motivated, able to learn quickly, and be interested in a dynamic, hands-on environment. The Role (training will be provided): Execute testing requirements and report technical results in a timely manner Document detailed test procedures including various measurements as required per test plans Active communication with project engineers during test execution to ensure customer's technical and scheduling needs are met Test equipment maintenance Collaborate with other MGA facilities to maintain consistent operating, quality, and safety practices
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Proficiency with Windows OS and the Office suite. Other software will be trained. Valid Driver's License and clean driving record (driving record will be checked) Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with basic hand and power tools and/or basic metalworking A strong interest in the advancement of the automotive industry including hybrid and electric vehicle technology Availability to travel
Bonus Qualifications:
Associates or other technical degree Metal fabrication skills Prior experience in the automotive industry, either technical or manufacturing
