Now Hiring:
Travel Calibration Technicians - Technician Level III (Senior Technician)
Location:
Mobile, AL JM Test Systems is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Calibration Technician to perform calibrations, qualifications, and preventative maintenance on inspection, measurement, and test equipment (IM&TE) in both lab and field environments. You'll ensure precision, safety, and compliance with top industry standards while delivering exceptional customer service.
Role Responsibilities:
Lead complex calibrations, repairs, and troubleshooting for specialized equipment Manage onsite projects and communicate status to customers and management Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards Support process improvements and technical training programs
Qualifications:
4+ years technical experience in calibration, repair, or related fields Advanced knowledge of test equipment and industry standards Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred:
Associate's degree in Metrology, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field Experience with automated calibration systems (e.g., Fluke
MET/TEAM
) Hands-on experience with mechanical and digital pressure measurement instruments
