Job Description
MyPhone Repair is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Cell Phone & Electronics Repair Tech to join our team at The Wharf entertainment complex in Orange Beach. This position combines electronics repair, troubleshooting, sales and customer service. Previous electronics repair and/or sales experience is preferred, but not required—we are willing to train the right person. Experience with tablet repair and/or soldering is a plus. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair cell phones, tablets and other small electronic devices Greet customers, assess devices and recommend repair options Explain technical issues and repair recommendations in a clear, easy-to-understand way Provide repair and replacement estimates Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Assist customers with products, accessories and other available services Use the point-of-sale system and maintain accurate customer and repair records Track devices throughout the repair process Answer phones and provide friendly, professional customer service Help maintain a clean, organized and professional store Assist with opening and closing procedures Follow established safety, security and operating procedures What We're Looking For Strong customer service and communication skills An interest in technology and electronics Dependable, positive and willing to learn Comfortable working directly with customers and making sales recommendations Attention to detail and good manual dexterity Previous electronics repair and/or sales experience preferred, but not required Previous tablet repair experience is a plus Soldering experience is a plus Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends Position Details Full-time or part-time Pay rate based on experience
