Hourly Full-Time Job Requirements At least 18 years of age Minimum high school graduate, GED, or equivalent work experience Eligible for employment in the US Must have one of the following: One (1) year experience in any of the followingMaintenance Skill Areas:
INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL, or HVAC; OR One (1) year vocational/technical education in theMaintenance Disciplines:
INSTRUMENTATION, ELECTRICAL, or HVAC Must be willing to meet the following requirements: Work in industrial conditions (may be warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise, heavy machinery, elevated working surfaces, and confined spaces (with proper safety training and safety protection) Undergo a drug screen for illicit use of drugs as a condition of employment Undergo a job-related health assessment as a condition of employment Submit to periodic drug screens as a condition of employment Work any shift and/or a rotating shift schedule Work overtime on a regular basis and with last minute notification Work holidays and/or weekends on a regular basis Wear required safety equipment It is preferred that candidates have the following skills and/or experience(s): Associates degree or certification(s) in any IP Core Maintenance Skills or related disciplines (Electrical, Instrumentation, or HVAC) Relevant work experience in an industrial environment.Technical knowledge and experience with:
Industrial safety procedures and equipment Troubleshooting and repair of: Instrument and control loop calibration Electrical control circuits Control valves PLC programming DCS programming Electrical power distribution and grounding Motor control circuits AC/DC motors Protective relaying and switchgear Reading and interpreting blueprints, tables, graphs, and diagrams Instrument Theory Control Theory Production-related computers and software Basic electronics Lighting repairs Installing conduit and wireThe Job You Will Perform:
This position will assist journeymen-level electricians and instrumentation technicians in routine maintenance work as well as performing many duties independently.
