Job Description

A leading defense and aerospace technology company is hiring a Technician 2 to support their development engineering team. This on-site temporary role offers the opportunity to work on electronics and electro-mechanical systems, contributing to innovative projects that ensure safety and security. Technician 2
Responsibilities:
Perform routine testing, troubleshooting, and assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems under supervision. Follow schematics, diagrams, and written instructions to conduct environmental testing and prototype assembly. Conduct operational tests and identify malfunctions down to the component level to ensure specifications are met. Collect data during defined engineering tests and utilize diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes and signal generators. Support development projects by performing assembly, modification, and fault isolation tasks. Technician 2
Qualifications:
Associate Degree in Electronics or a short electronics certificate, or military electronics training with proof of electronic theory knowledge. Training within one year of employment in ESD, safety, and FOD prevention. Ability to troubleshoot, test, and repair electronic devices using schematics and test equipment. Good teamwork skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately. Experience in soldering and basic computer skills are a plus.
