We are seeking an experienced Lead Home Automation Technician - with Crestron / Control4 / Savant experience to join our Scottsdale team. This position is ideal for an AV professional with strong hands-on experience installing, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting high-end residential technology systems. You will work primarily in luxury homes throughout Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and the surrounding Phoenix area. Our projects include sophisticated Crestron and Control4 automation systems, lighting control, distributed audio/video, networking, surveillance, motorized shades, climate control, and home theaters. We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean, professional installations and understands the level of workmanship and customer service expected when working in luxury residences. What We're Looking For 3-5+ years of professional residential AV/automation experience Experience with Crestron and/or Control4 systems; Savant experience is also valuable Strong understanding of distributed audio/video systems Experience installing and troubleshooting home automation and control systems Working knowledge of residential networking, Wi-Fi, and IP-based devices Ability to install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot structured wiring Experience with equipment racks, televisions, speakers, amplifiers, control processors, touch panels, and related AV equipment Ability to diagnose system problems logically and efficiently Comfortable working with software-based configuration and setup tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, professional workmanship Excellent communication and customer-service skills Organized and able to accurately document completed work and project status Dependable, professional, and able to work effectively as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Crestron and Control4 experience is strongly preferred. What You'll Do A typical day may include: Installing and commissioning residential AV and automation systems Installing and servicing Crestron, Control4, and related control systems Installing TVs, speakers, equipment racks, networking equipment, surveillance cameras, touch panels, and other system components Troubleshooting audio, video, automation, lighting, networking, and control-system issues Testing and verifying systems before project completion Updating and upgrading existing and legacy systems Maintaining organized and properly labeled equipment racks and wiring Communicating project and service status clearly with clients and our project management team Documenting work performed and updating company project-management/service software Coordinating with project managers, electricians, builders, designers, and other trades Providing clients with basic system instruction and support Maintaining a clean and professional work environment in clients' homes What We Offer We are an established luxury residential AV and integration company with more than 20 years of experience in the Valley .
