Job Description
SUMMARY Incumbents perform technical duties locating and marking underground City utilities, such as water, reclaimed/effluent, and sewer lines and IT fiber in public rights-of-ways and easements using a variety of utility maps, as-built plans, blueprints, sketches, construction plans, GIS systems, and other computer mapping systems. Incumbents operate and train others in the use of equipment and machinery, and perform quality control activities. Incumbents may perform as lead workers and provide daily work assignments, review completed work, serve as resources to other workers, and track equipment and inventory. EDUCATION and/or
