Repair Technician Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintenance and Repair:
Disassemble, clean, repair and rebuild electric motors, pumps and blowers. Replace worn or damaged parts such as mechanical seals, bearings, impellers and motors Make shafts with keys Ability to diagnose and repair electric motors, pumps and blowers Machine and fabricate parts required for assigned repair tasks Knowledge of and utilize tools required to perform repairs and rebuild of electric motors, pumps and blowers Maintain high quality on all assigned repair jobs Maintain accurate records of repairs and service performed Adhere to the rules, regulations and guidelines of the shop Keep the workplace safe, clean, and tidy, and perform daily inspections of the shop Work as mentor/trainer for other repair shop technicians Repair Technician-Level 2
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED Minimum 5-years experienced in HVAC and pumps Strong diagnostics abilities and mechanical aptitude Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Ability to machine and fabricate parts Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and able to work in a team environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
