This is a hands-on plant operations role working across instrumentation, controls and electrical equipment, with a strong focus on troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration and safe plant operation.

The IC&E Technician will work closely with operations and maintenance teams, supporting plant reliability, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across critical systems including DCS, PLC, turbine controls, switchgear, motors, transformers and plant instrumentation. Electrical Technician Role:

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, install and calibrate instrumentation, control systems and electrical equipment Carry out preventive maintenance on major plant equipment, systems and emergency backup systems Troubleshoot Distributed Control Systems, Programmable Logic Controllers and turbine-control equipment Work with electrical systems including motors, generators, transformers, switches, control equipment, wiring, batteries and communication systems Maintain equipment files, logs, drawings, technical references and preventive maintenance records Support spare-parts inventory control to help maintain plant reliability Follow safe work practices, permit-to-work procedures, management of change processes and contractor safety expectations Support incident reporting, root-cause analysis, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement activity IC&E Technician / Instrument Technician /

Electrical Technician Requirements:

Experience as an IC&E Technician, Instrument Technician, Electrical Technician or similar technical role Experience within power generation, industrial manufacturing or a related industrial environment Strong knowledge of instrumentation and control systems used in modern power generation facilities Experience troubleshooting, maintaining and repairing electrical systems such as switchgear, motors, transformers, batteries, chargers, inverters, generators and excitation equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings and operating procedures Experience using SAP or another CMMS Commitment to safe working practices, regulatory compliance and the correct use of
