Job Summary Responsible for maintaining and repairing the clubhouse facility, equipment, and related systems to ensure operational efficiency and safety. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Post-secondary vocational or technical training in electrical engineering, HVAC, or refrigeration preferred. Minimum of four (4) years of maintenance experience in an institutional or business setting. Core Competencies & Skills Proficiency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and painting. Ability to diagnose and perform minor repairs on outlets, lamps, and plumbing fixtures. General knowledge of power tools and mechanical systems. Ability to perform wood floor maintenance and lock repairs/replacements. Awareness of safety protocols and emergency procedures. Key Responsibilities Perform general maintenance and repairs on plumbing, furniture, electrical systems, appliances, elevators, ventilation systems, and structural components. Maintain and repair air conditioning systems, refrigerators, ice makers, and pool pumps. Supervise filtration and chlorination of the swimming pool; conduct water testing and maintain logs for health department inspections. Execute routine preventive maintenance (PM) in accordance with club standards. Install and repair tile, drywall, grout, brick, and plaster. Conduct painting, door and window maintenance, roofing, and ceiling repairs. Repair small motors and related equipment. Attend departmental staff meetings and training sessions. Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Maintenance or Director of Operations. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions. Frequent exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and potentially hazardous chemicals. Occasional exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, high elevations, electrical hazards, and vibrations. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, pulling, and repetitive motions. Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shifts.
