$29.23-$33.69 Job Description We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Specialist to support the maintenance, repair, and preventative maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, perform repairs, and help ensure equipment and building systems operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment and is comfortable working with electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated equipment. Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, VFDs, motors, sensors, switches, contactors, and other control devices. Diagnose electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment issues. Maintain and repair equipment including mixers, conveyors, compressors, mills, packaging systems, pumps, and related machinery. Perform basic plumbing, electrical, building, and facility repairs. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, equipment manuals, and technical drawings. Assist with equipment modifications, welding, and fabrication as needed. Maintain accurate preventative maintenance and repair records using a computerized maintenance system. Assist with spare parts inventory and sourcing replacement parts from vendors. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and support production teams to minimize downtime. Follow all applicable safety, quality, and facility procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Perform additional maintenance duties as assigned. Qualifications Associate degree, technical coursework, or equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience preferred. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment. Working knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems. Experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read schematics, blueprints, technical drawings, and equipment manuals. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and computerized maintenance systems. Ability to work independently and effectively troubleshoot equipment problems. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Pay:
$29.23 - $33.69 per hour
