Job Description
Bring your hands-on skills to a fast-moving robotics environment in El Segundo, CA, where you'll support hardware from lab development through ocean deployment. In this Engineering Technician - Junior/Entry Level opportunity, you'll work on real systems, learn from experienced teams, and grow your technical capability while contributing to impactful field-ready projects. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Engineering Technician - Junior/Entry Level position include: Hands-on mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience through work, school, or personal projects Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn drawings, schematics, harness diagrams, motors, sensors, PCBAs, and wiring Experience using hand and power tools, with confidence in fabrication, assembly, and harness building Ability to troubleshoot, test, and support work involving fluid systems Basic Linux command line or Python is a plus Willingness to travel occasionally to docks, deployment sites, and for hardware installations Full-time, on-site availability in El Segundo, CA Commitment to learning and improving through hands-on, on-the-job training
