Full Job Description Description of Job Duties:
Perform electrical and functional testing of PCBAs, modules, and integrated systems using established Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and work instructions. Program circuit boards with approved firmware and application code and verify correct product configuration, part numbers, firmware versions, and revision levels prior to testing. Execute functional and final test procedures to verify product performance and compliance with specifications and documentation. Follow test documentation, schematics, assembly drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure correct configuration and test setup. Collect, record, and maintain accurate test data, including completion of required production documentation such as work order traveler sheets and acceptance test data sheets utilizing Bar-code Scanners track on Work Order Travelers. Identify, document, and report test failures or non-conformances, providing clear information to support corrective actions. Troubleshoot electronic assemblies down to the component level using schematics and diagnostic equipment to determine the root cause of failures. Use standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and signal generators to perform testing and isolate faults. Complete testing within the allotted production or test cycle time while maintaining product quality and accuracy. Maintain clear and accurate documentation of test results, troubleshooting activities, and collected test data. Work effectively in a team-oriented production environment, collaborating with production and quality personnel to support workflow and resolve issues. Maintain strong organization and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of test documentation and reporting. Maintain a clean and organized work area to support efficient manufacturing operations. Comply with all company policies, AS9100 quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements. Perform additional production test tasks as required to support manufacturing, quality, and production output.
Work Environment:
Hands-on work in an electronics manufacturing or lab environment. Production electronics manufacturing environment involving the testing and verification of PCBAs, modules, and integrated electronic systems. Test stations and benches using electronic test equipment, computers, and specialized programming tools. Interaction with engineering, quality, and production teams Handling sensitive electronic components and assemblies, requiring adherence to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) control procedures. Must maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety and quality standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The applicant MUST have the following qualifications: Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics Technology, or equivalent experience. Experience testing electronic assemblies, PCBAs, or electronic systems. Ability to read and understand schematics, BOMs, and test procedures including ECOs (Engineering Change Orders). Strong component-level troubleshooting skills for analog and digital circuits. Experience programming or loading firmware/application code onto electronic boards. Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as: Oscilloscopes Multimeters Power supplies Signal generators Logic analyzers Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to follow detailed procedures with high attention to detail. High school diploma or equivalent (AA degree or equivalent military training preferred) Must be able to troubleshoot analog and digital circuitry down to component level failure. Ability to read, write and speak English AS9100 Quality Standard Work Environment ESD control (Electrostatic Discharge Awareness) 3-5 Years of Experience Ability to lift 35 lbs. U.S.
Citizenship Additional Desirable Experience:
Previous Oscillator, GPS testing and troubleshooting experience a plus.
