EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST
Equipment Maintenance Specialist is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities Routine Maintenance :
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on fuel equipment to ensure it operates efficiently and safely.
Troubleshooting and Repairs :
Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs on fuel equipment.
Install equipment:
Install fuel equipment.
Documentation :
Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to track equipment performance and compliance with safety standards.
Collaboration :
Work closely with team members to coordinate maintenance schedules and address equipment needs, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Emergency Response :
Respond promptly to equipment failures and work orders, prioritizing high-priority tasks to reduce downtime.
Required Skills and Qualifications Class A License Tanker Endorsement HazMat Certificate Education :
Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or technical certification in maintenance technology or a related field is preferred.
Experience :
Hands-on experience with fuel mechanical and electrical systems is essential, along with proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Problem-Solving Skills :
Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve equipment issues effectively. Attention to
Detail :
A keen eye for detail to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed accurately and safely.
Communication Skills :
Effective communication skills to interact with team members and report on equipment status and needs.
