Job Description

The Repair Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining robotic cleaning devices (e.g,. robotic vaccum cleaners, floor scrubbers). Thi role enures products are restored to full functionality, meet quality standards, and are returned to customers or inventory in a timely manner.
Key responsibilities:
Diagnose mechanical, electrical and software issues in robot cleaners Perform repairs on components suck as motors, sensors, circuit boards, wheel and betteries. Disassemble and reassemble robotic units safely and efficiently. Conduct functional testing after repair to ensure proper operation. Update firmware/software when required Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and test results Handle RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) units and warranty repairs Communicate repair findings and recommend solutions or replacements Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and safety procedures Maintain clean and organized workstations Required Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent (technical certification preferred) 1-3 years of experience in electronics repair, small appliances, or robotics Basic understanding of electrial circuits and mechanical systems Familiarity with diagnostic tools (multimetewr, powwer supply, etc.) Ability to read technical manuals and schematics Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with robotic vaccum brand suchs as iRobot (Roomba), Ecovacs, or Roborock Knowledge of Li-ion battery handling and safety Experience with firmware flashing and basi programming/debugging Background in RMA or warehouse repair operations Skills and Competencies Troubleshooting and analytical thinking Manual dexterity and precision Time management and efficiency Basic computer skills for reporting and tracking systems Ability to work independently and in a team Working conditions Warehouse or repair lab environment May require lifting up to 40lbs Use of small tools and electronic testing equipment
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour
