Senior Field Technician Starting Pay:
$25.00+/hr,
DOE Job Summary:
Candidate must have strong mechanical ability and capability of using basic hand tools. Customer service skills are a must. Prior military is a plus. Experience with electrical circuitry and high voltage power, knowledge or experience with hydraulics, and pneumatic is preferred. Previous professional Field Technician experience required. Frequent travel is part of the job. All travel arrangements, including airfare and accommodations are covered. We have opportunities to travel to all 50 states and international travel if applicant has a passport.
Responsibilities:
Working between engineering and manufacturing departments to ensure products are manufactured to quality standards, client's specifications, and project timelines Support Delta's engineering team through various hands-on means Experience with electrical circuitry and low voltage power is required Experience with mechanical or hydraulic/pneumatic systems PLC programming skills Knowledge of basic repair of hydraulic and electric apparatus Must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Experience in any one or more of the following is required: programmable logic controllers, automotive, motorsports or aviation mechanics, electrical contracting, machine repair or mechanical/civil engineering construction experience and/or electrical drafting Must be able to work with a team to achieve a common goal with quickly changing job duties daily.
Qualifications and Requirements Education:
High school diploma or GED required; an associate's degree, trade school certificate, or military technical training in electronics, mechanics, or IT is a plus
Experience:
2-5+ years of hands-on field service experience in a relevant industry
Physical and Travel Demands:
Valid driver's license with a clean record, ability to pass background/drug tests, and capability to lift up to 75 lbs, crawl, or climb. Must be open to regular travel or flexible shifts. Starting Salary is $25+/hour dependent on experience with very extensive overtime available, paid travel time and paid travel expenses.
