Together, we are elevating aerospace. Who is Zenix Aerospace Jet Products? Zenix Aerospace Jet Products uses its own near net shape starting blanks with sizes ranging from 2″ to 180″ diameter. Applications include turbine engine parts, nacelle mounting and attach rings, and duct fittings. Produces complex machined rings and ring components in titanium, nickel, cobalt, stainless and aluminum alloys. Major markets for current production are airframe structural rings and assemblies, including the nacelle and thrust reverser, and a variety of rings and cases for turbine engines. What Does the Job Involve? Perform maintenance and support for furnaces and heat treating processes. Ensure furnaces are operating and maintained per specifications. Perform necessary repairs as safely and quickly as possible to maximize machine equipment availability to production. What Will My Responsibilities Include? Calibrate furnaces and heat treating processes to customer specifications. Diagnose and resolve operational problems in accordance with operation manuals and manufacturers specifications using appropriate tools as necessary. Operate both gas and electric furnaces. Perform maintenance or assist in maintaining furnaces to required specifications. Disassemble, repair or replace defective equipment parts and reassemble equipment using proper safety procedures and equipment, perform necessary adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality. Perform system integration and wiring in conjunction with instrumentation and furnaces. Install and tune instruments and field revisions. Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure furnaces and heat treating processes continue to operate and run smoothly and efficiently. Inspect, examine, operate and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose malfunctions. Regulate and monitor advanced process controls and applications. Map process characteristics and turbulent disturbances with gas furnaces. Ensure furnaces and heat treating processes are in accordance to quality standards and processes are accurately maintained and properly recorded. Review production schedule and performs necessary adjustments during a time that least impacts production. Record maintenance and repair work performed. Maintain schedule requirements for all furnace
SUT/TUS/T/C, MMI
surveys. Schedule assignments for furnace related work. Maintain and update documentation and drawings for furnaces, instruments, racks. Demonstrate ability to appear for work on time, work overtime when necessary, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, work safely, comply with corporate policies, goals and objectives, accept constructive feedback, establish goals and objectives, and exhibit initiative and commitment. What Key Skills Do I Need? Knowledge of furnaces and heat treating processes and turbulent flow profiles. Knowledge of SAT, TUS, MMI, ISC's required. Familiar with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge and experience with thermal system measurement devices. What Qualifications Should I Have?
Education:
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education and experience.
Experience:
3 - 5 years of previous heat treat experience. Manufacturing industry experience preferred, specifically machine shop experience. Why Join Zenix Aerospace? Pay:
