We're looking for someone hands-on, detail-oriented, and curious, who wants to help build a more sustainable and energy independent future. We're a fast-growing, global company building the world's best clean energy products to electrify all homes and connect communities to form clean, resilient virtual power plants. On a given day at Lunar, you'll likely... Monitor ongoing testing Take pre- and post-test photos and conduct functional inspections of DUTs, with training from test engineers Run test scripts, swap equipment between runs and support minor repairs (e.g. swapping an inverter or battery blocks) Support offsite testing as needed Tag DUTs and maintain post-test inventory, ensuring it gets flushed out regularly Keep test benches, equipment, and labels organized, take ownership of lab cleanliness and upkeep Maintain inventory of common lab equipment and order/make more things as needed Flag equipment issues or process improvements to the engineering team Desired Skills Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits; comfortable with teardown/inspection work and spotting anomalies Strong communicator, asks questions readily and is comfortable flagging issues Must be able to complete HV/LV safety training; a healthy respect (and appropriate caution) around electronics is required Experience building test harnesses Experience operating environmental chambers and various types of test equipment Comfortable operating Python scripts/using a terminal Ability to read basic electrical schematics Experience with home batteries, solar, or general home electrical/electrician work

Please note that the hourly range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Pay Transparency for Pay Equity Act for California applicants. The hourly range estimate for this position depending on level of experience is $35-$60 USD The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company's sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations.
