[$22-$24/ hour] About the Role Are you the type of person who loves taking things apart just to see how they work? Do you get a deep sense of satisfaction from transforming a dusty, neglected piece of tech into a spotless, high-performing machine? If so, we want you on our team. We are seeking a highly focused, tech-savvy Electronics Restoration Technician to handle the deep cleaning, disassembly, and testing of various electronic devices. This isn't just a surface-wipe job—we need someone who understands the delicate anatomy of hardware and treats every piece of equipment with the utmost care.
Key Responsibilities Precision Disassembly & Cleaning:
Safely take apart electronic devices (PCs, laptops, gaming consoles, audio equipment, etc.) to perform deep internal and external cleanings.
Data Safeguarding:
Perform full system backups to external hard drives before any internal work or testing begins to ensure zero data loss.
Bench Testing:
Conduct rigorous diagnostics and bench testing on all equipment post-cleaning to verify 100% functionality.
Reassembly & Quality Control:
Reassemble devices perfectly, ensuring no leftover screws, loose wires, or misaligned components.
Documentation:
Keep brief logs of the devices cleaned, backups completed, and test results.
Requirements & Qualifications Hands-on Hardware Experience:
Proven comfort and experience using precision tools to disassemble and reassemble intricate electronic devices. Meticulous Attention to

Technical Proficiency:
Solid understanding of different operating systems (Windows/macOS) and the ability to confidently back up user data to external drives.
Problem-Solving Mindset:
Ability to run basic diagnostic tests and recognize when a device isn't performing up to spec.
Safety Conscious:
Knowledge of safe electronics handling, including ESD (electrostatic discharge) awareness and proper chemical/tool usage (isopropyl alcohol, compressed air, etc.).
