$46.11hr - $51.11hr
Requirement/Must Have:
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting a system engineering group in a product development organization. Ability to troubleshoot complex PCAs down to component level. Electronic and Mechanical assembly skills including soldering, crimping, box build, fiber handling, optical component handling, cable routing, and use of RTV/epoxy. Understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, assembly drawings, fab drawings, and mechanical drawings. Ability to solve technical issues with a basic understanding of electrical circuits and mechanical drawings. Working knowledge of computers, word processing, and spreadsheet applications for documentation and data presentation. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a variety of technologies including digital and analog electronics components, optical components, servo components, machined parts, sheet metal parts, and cable assemblies. Strong verbal and written communication skills to partner effectively with production technicians, supervisors, and engineers. Proven ability to work well in a team environment. Familiarity with JIRA, Agile, and SAP or equivalent tools.
Responsibilities:
Assist or execute engineering level tests and collect data to support design of experiment activities or characterize an assembly. Assist with parts ordering, building, and modification of development fixtures for evaluation. Document all activities to maintain accurate records. Manage time and resources in accordance with project requirements. Perform other engineering technician duties as needed. Follow production escalation processes and provide engineering evaluation of any interruptions to the production line. Perform quick triage of issues and recommend the best course of action to maintain production flow. Perform simple reworks including cable crimping, soldering components, tapping threads, cleaning optics, and adjusting alignments. Document all activities during escalation support in formal records. Order parts and assemble or bring up duplicate fixtures for production.
