Hourly Rate:
$40 USD per hour
Schedule:
Full-time (30+ hours per week)
Training Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday, 9:00 AM
  • 5:30 PM (2-3 weeks)
Available Shifts:
Tuesday
  • Friday, 2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM & Saturday, 9:00 AM
  • 5:30 PM Monday
  • Thursday, 2:00 PM
  • 10:30 PM & Sunday, 9:00 AM
  • 5:30 PM Weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday) will eventually extend to 10:30
PM Job Description:
We are helping our client hire a Vehicle Testing Specialist
  • Industrial/Travel to be responsible for daily testing activities for its autonomous vehicle programs.
In this role, you will execute test plans, support a wide range of testing functions, and report on testing outcomes to provide crucial information for the software development teams. This role requires significant travel. Depending on the assignment, some hires may travel globally for 4-6 months of the year, while others may travel for approximately two weeks at a time every few months.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute test plans on AV and ADAS development vehicles. Coordinate and improve testing procedures together with software engineers and operations teams. Provide detailed notes and formal reports of testing activities and results. Work with vehicle operators to conduct testing professionally and efficiently. Be a safety champion for the vehicle testing programs.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
2+ years of hardware or software testing, data entry, or similar technical experience. Experience with troubleshooting issues on computers or other hardware. Demonstrated detail-oriented mindset. Collaborative mindset and deep interest in understanding the functionality of autonomy software. Ideal Candidate Profile (Nice-to-Have): Experience with software development practices. Knowledge of Linux. Familiarity with software tools like Slack, Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace. Experience with autonomous vehicles or ADAS.
Pay:
$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Application Question(s): How many years of experience do you have in hardware or software testing, data entry, or similar technical roles? Are you comfortable with significant travel (up to 4-6 months per year) and available to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA, with the required shift availability?
