An international industrial manufacturer in the Torrance, CA area is seeking a Failure Analysis Technician responsible for examining failed products to identify defects or issues.

Responsibilities:

Examine faulty or failed components and assemblies to identify failure mode Conduct diagnostic analysis of returned customer products Perform repairs and replacements while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Document failure data and test results Conduct root cause analysis to clarify why products failed Take part in end-of-month review meetings Collaborate with manufacturing, design engineering and quality teams to improve product performance

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or technical certification in electronics, engineering, mechanical technology or related field At least 2 years of experience troubleshooting electronic, mechanical or electromechanical systems Familiarity with testing and diagnostic equipment like oscilloscope, multimeter and function generator Ability to read technical drawings and schematics Proficiency with Microsoft Office If you feel you can make positive contributions to our company, and think this is the position for you, please don't hesitate to send us your resume right away!
