Our client is currently seeking a Multi-Craft Technician out in the Winton, CA area! Summary of Functions The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician is responsible for the care and maintenance of all property and production assets in a safe, sanitary, and efficient condition. This role stays current on new products, equipment, technology, and techniques, and serves as a key problem-solver keeping production running in a fast-paced environment. Major Duties and Responsibilities Electrical & Controls Troubleshoot electrical circuitry and motor control centers (MCCs) Install, set up, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) Replace and service electrical motors Troubleshoot PLCs and their programs; load PLC programs into new or replacement controllers Working knowledge across 24 VDC, 120 VAC single-phase, 208/240 V single-phase, and 208/240/480 V three-phase systems Instrumentation Calibrate, configure, troubleshoot, and verify operation of instrumentation, including level sensors, RTDs, and flow meters Mechanical Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic problems on all plant equipment Perform preventive maintenance tasks to support production operations Safety & Quality Complete work orders in a timely manner to the highest quality standards Perform all tasks in accordance with company safety and GMP policies and guidelines Follow all required safe work practices, including lockout/tagout, confined space entry, safe chemical handling, fall restraint, and wearing all required PPE in designated areas Readily available for emergency repairs in breakdown situations May be assigned other tasks in addition to maintenance responsibilities Food Safety Requirements/Responsibilities Comply with all plant, state, and federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations Comply with GMPs in the plant Assist in the maintenance of the food safety and quality system Organizational Relationships Reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.
