This role focuses on structured, high-quality fiber work including internal cabling, terminations, splicing support, and network installations. You will play a critical role in delivering reliable connectivity while maintaining clean, professional installation standards in occupied buildings. This position is ideal for technicians who take pride in precision, documentation, and execution. Responsibilities Install and route fiber optic cabling within multi-dwelling unit buildings Perform fiber terminations and assist with splicing and testing as required Complete low-voltage cabling tasks including structured wiring and device installation Use hand and power tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, meters, and specialty telecom tools Follow project plans, prints, and network layouts accurately Document all work completed including photos, test results, and as-built updates Communicate professionally with residents, property staff, and team members to minimize disruption Maintain clean work areas and adhere to Purus Group quality and safety standards Preferred Qualifications Experience as a fiber, telecom, or low-voltage technician Working knowledge of fiber installation, termination, and basic splicing concepts Familiarity with low-voltage electrical systems and structured cabling Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and network diagrams Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
